Last week the #4 ranked UFC light heavyweight Phil Davis took division champion Jon Jones to task for matchmaking suggestions, saying why not call it the Ultimate Jon Jones Fighting Championship?

This week Davis expressed suspicion that Jones would drop out his UFC 172 fight with Glover Teixeira on April 26.

Davis is scheduled to fight Anthony Johnson at UFC 172, but is prepared for an interim title shot should to opportunity arise.
