Davis: I’m looking at making a run at 155 lb. title

“My training has just gone through the roof. … My mind went from contemplating retirement to now I’m looking at making a run in the 155-pound division.

“Things have changed dramatically for me really quick.”

Davis, who said he was under 170 this week, says while he will only briefly touch 155 pounds for the weigh in, he feels good in his new body.

And unlike other fighters who can look emaciated in cutting to a new weight class, Davis says he will look natural at the weigh-in.

“I think I’m going to look like I belong at 155,” he said.
