Alexis Davis is 4-1 inside the Octagon and a former bantamweight title challenger. After losing to Rousey, Davis got back to her winning ways at UFC 186, but will now take some time off before returning to her fighting career to have a baby:

The UFC women’s bantamweight contender announced Tuesday on Instagram that she is pregnant and will not return to the Octagon until late 2016. Davis said her baby with longtime boyfriend and former Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion Flavio Meier is due early next year.

“I planned on spending as much time back home as possible to help with my niece anyways,” Davis wrote. “But we are over joyed by this news and should be expecting our new arrival early 2016.”
