The escalating tensions between YouTube star Logan Paul and former MMA fighter Dillion Danis have drawn the ire of ONE Championship star Danielle Kelly.

The American grappling phenom is preparing to take on old foe Jessa Khan for the inaugural ONE women’s atomweight submission grappling world title at “ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp vs. Ham” on Prime Video on September 29, but she took time out of her training to comment on something that Paul said to Danis recently.

The pair are set to clash in the boxing ring on October 14, and they have embarked on a lengthy war of words via social media in the lead-up.

But things took a more personal turn during a recent face-to-face interview, as Paul raised eyebrows with a reference to Danis’ late father.

“Your dad passed away; you lost your friends,” Paul said.

Danis quickly stepped in to stop Paul delving any deeper into the topic.

“Yeah, he did. Talk about that and see what happens,” the Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt warned.

“You try and say that you’re not a scumbag, and you’re going to talk about my dad passing?”

Unperturbed by his upcoming opponent’s discomfort, Paul continued.

The part-time WWE star pointed to Danis’ lengthy Twitter campaign in which he has garnered plenty of attention by posting compromising images of Paul’s fiance.

“I empathize with you Dylan, because I understand that Twitter, now for you, is like a group therapy session. Because for the first time in a while, you’re getting a sense of validation that you have not gotten.”

The tirade struck a nerve with Kelly, who sadly lost both of her parents to illness as a young adult.

She was quick to call out Paul’s behaviour via her Instagram story.

“I don’t like Danis. But talking about someone’s passed parent/using against them for trash talk shows how low of (sic) a person is. Dissapointing (sic) at Logan,” she posted.
