Dana White’s great reason for missing Ronda Rousey wedding
Dana White: “Of all the days … She said, ‘I’m getting married. Will you come to the wedding?’ I said, ‘Absolutely.’ The wedding’s tomorrow.”

Ronda Rousey was once the most famous figure in mixed martial arts history. In 2015 she landed at No. 3 for Google’s top trending people; #4 was Donald Trump. Trump is now the president and Rousey, having dropped two in a row in the Octagon, has apparently moved on to other endeavors. She has wrapped up shooting a reboot of Battle of the Network Stars, there is speculation she may soon appear in the WWE, and Rousey’s about to get married to UFC heavyweight Travis Browne.
UFC president Dana White is the league boss, and thus is friends only with a small number of UFC fighters, most notably Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell. He has also described Rousey as a real friend, but will not be attending her wedding.White explained why during a Friday interview on The Rich Eisen Show.
Ronda Rousey gets married tomorrow, said White. Tomorrow is her wedding. She’s in a good place, she’s happy and hasn’t announced her retirement or anything like that, but she’s focusing on this wedding.
Of all the days … She said, ‘I’m getting married. Will you come to the wedding?’ I said, ‘Absolutely.’ The wedding’s tomorrow.
So this weekend ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey gets married tomorrow, and Conor McGregor boxes Floyd Mayweather, or tries to.
