Swedish media outlet Sportspegeln reported that “The Mauler” suffered a significant cut in training and will be unable to fight this weekend vs. Gegard Mousasi at UFC on FUEL TV 9.

However, UFC President Dana White contacted UFC Tonight reporter Ariel Helwani, and said, emphatically, that the fight is still on.

The term SAC above refers the the body regulating the event in Sweden.

Gustafsson is 15-1 and is poised to earn a title shot if he is successful this weekend.
