During UFC 142 press conference in Brazil, White was asked about a superfight between Jon Jones vs Anderson Silva.

Current middleweight champion, Anderson Silva has had two fights in the UFC light heavyweight divsion where Jones holds the belt, against James Irvin in July 2008, and against Forrest Griffin in August 2009, and won both. Nevertheless, the Brazilian is not interested in moving up in weight.

“I know people want to see it happen,” White said. “Anderson Silva has been reluctant to put on weight. But if people are interested, we always try to make these fights.”
