Dana White on Diaz, Sonnen, Overeem, and Fedor

At special UFC 129 press conference and fan event at Toronto’s Rogers Centre, Dana White took to the arena floor, and fielded questions from the audience.

Q: Who do you think is pound for pound the best fighter in the word outside of the UFC

Dana White: Probably Nick Diaz … Nick is nasty, Nick’s a tough kid, and probably should be in the UFG, but he’s just too crazy, he does crazy stuff.

Q: Do you think Fedor is going to win this weekend?

DFW: To tell the truth (laughs) you guys are all going to smash me for this one … Who is he fighting?

A: Bigfoot, Antonio Silva

DFW: Oooo that’s a tough fight. Yah, Fedor should win, and win easily.

Q: When is Alistair Overeem coming to the UFC?

DFW: We’ll see what happens … I like Alistair Overeem … I hate to even give my opinion on him … First of all the guy has not done anything … He’s winning K-1 fights … I respect this guy … If I can get him in the UFC, I always want the best guys … I would do it.

Q: Would there ever be any possibility of making non title fights 5 rounds?

DFW: Yes, we could it, we are probably going to start doing that.

Q: Can you give us any new insignts on Chael Sonnen?

DFW: Chael actually goes for his hearing in the next few weeks. Once he gets all his personal problems taken care of we’ll figure out when he’ll fight again.
