At 47 years old, the nine-time UFC champion often says it’s about having fun and finding matchups that interest him rather than plotting his road back to the top.
However, White thinks Couture has the ability to stay in the company of the light heavyweight division’s best.
“I’m not going to count Randy out,” he said. “Who the hell knows what he could do? He could fight until he is 57. Who knows? But I still consider him one of the best in the world at 205.”
“Randy wanting to retire right now, I’d be totally cool with that,” White said. “Randy Couture wanting to fight again, I’d be totally cool with that.”
