Dan Henderson wants UFC title before retiring
Dan Henderson: “…the last thing I need to achieve in this sport is getting that UFC title. I’ve had other titles, but that UFC belt still eludes me.”
At forty-three years of age, Dan Henderson’s MMA fight resume leads like a list of the sport’s biggest stars over the past ten years. Last night’s win over ‘Shogun’ Rua proved that Henderson still has what it takes to compete against the best and he is hoping that he can still work his way to and win a world title fight before he’s done for good:
“That’s the last goal of mine and the last thing I need to achieve in this sport is getting that UFC title. I’ve had other titles, but that UFC belt still eludes me. I’m still after it and I feel like I’m still capable of doing that. There’s so many guys at light heavyweight now and half the fans are asking me to go down to middleweight, so I’m really open to anything.”
