Strikeforce women’s middleweight (145-pound) champion Cris Cyborg Santos is set to return to action as part of the Strikeforce and M-1 Global co-promoted event on June 26 in San Jose, Calif. Now she has an opponent. Cyborg will defend her belt against veteran fighter Jan Finney.
Finney has a mediocre record of 8-7 that belies her abilities. A strong striker, Finney’s losses have come against the best female fighters in the world, taking Julie Kedzie, Meisha Tate, and Erin Toughill to decisions.
