According to reports from MMAweekly.com, Las Vegas-based fighter Steve Cantwell has pulled out of his light heavyweight bout with Vladimir Matyushenko at UFC 108 due to an undisclosed injury.
The organization is searching for a replacement to fill Cantwell’s spot — a tough task considering the event is scheduled for this Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The UFC 108 card has been seemingly ‘cursed’ from the beginning, as many of the scheduled fights have fallen through due to injury.
