UFC light heavyweight Patrick Cummins fights Ovince Saint Preux at UFC on FOX 15 on April 18 in Newark, NJ. Saint Preux has never failed a test for performance enhancing drugs, nor has he ever been singled out as being under suspicion. However, concern about PEDs is such that fighters are taking a stand for them. Cummins is the latest to call for comprehensive, random, out of competition testing.

“These failed drug tests are getting out of control,” said Cummins via manager Ryan Parsons to Ariel Helwani for MMA Fighting. “OSP, let’s do the right thing with random WADA [World Anti-Doping Agency] testing like I did my entire wrestling career and let the fans see the results.”

Saint Preux accepted.

OSP’s coach Joey Zonar was also behind the idea.

“Hell yes,” said Zonar. “As long as [Cummins] makes him a coffee.”
