Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira told Mano a Mano that he would like a second fight with Filipovic now they are both in the UFC. He won their first meeting with an armbar submission and says he thinks he would have an even better chance to defeat the Croatian now.

CroCop sent a text message to Fighters Only today saying I heard what Nogueira said in Brazil. That would be a fight I could not refuse.

Last week Fighters Only spoke with CroCop. I am still thinking about what to do and right now I need some rest. I will talk with Lorenzo and we will see. I just need motivation right now… Since 2003, its inside of me to have a rematch with Nogueira, definitely. He is one of the true legends, a pioneer of the sport, former Pride champion and former UFC champion as well. It would be a very interesting rematch for me.

With Nogueira also expressing his interest in a rematch and CroCop long in the mood for one, the scene is set for another meeting. But CroCop is still out of contract with the UFC and won’t be fighting anyone unless a new deal is signed.
