Cris Justino fighting at 135, Invicta 10 on Dec. 5, eats a scorpion

On a special addition of UFC Minute, Lisa Foiles announced that Cris Justino will make her debut at 135 on Dec. 5th at Invicta 10, live on UFC Fight Pass. No opponent has been named.

UFC president Dana White has said that if Justino can demonstrate that she can safely and consistently make the cut to bantamweight, a fight with UFC champion Ronda Rousey could be made.

The UFC also announced that Invicta 9 will take place on November 1, in Davenport, Iowa, and will be headlined by Invicta flyweight champion Barb Honchak vs. Takayo Hashi. Invicta 9 will also stream live on UFC Fight Pass.

Justino has been training extensively in Thailand, where she was the guest of honor at the Brazilian National day hosted by Ambassador Gilberto Moura. There she ate some freshly cooked scorpion. You knew it already, but, yah, Cris Justino is tougher than you are.
