Cris Cyborg vs. Charmaine Tweet at Invicta FC 11 on 2/27

Cris Cyborg and Ronda Rousey are fighting on the weekend of Feb. 27&28, in Los Angeles, California, but not against each other.

Brett Okamoto for ESPN reports that Cris Cyborg will be defending her Invicta FC featherweight title against Charmaine “Not so Sweet” Tweet, at Invicta FC 11 on Friday, Feb. 27 at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.

The next night UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey defends her title against Cat Zingano in the co-main event of UFC 184 at Staples Center, also in LA.

The UFC is currently in negotiations with Justino, 29, to sign a contract with UFC parent company ZUFFA, with the goal that she would continue fighting for Invicta, as she attempts to drop to 135. If Justino can establish that she can make the weight consistently, and super fight with Rousey would be made.

The all-female Invict FC airs on the UFC Fight Pass Internet subscription service.

Tweet, 37, is coming off a weet (6-4) is coming off a first-round TKO vs. Veronica Rothenhausler at Invicta FC 8 on 6 September. Justino has not fought since beating Marloes Coenen at Invicat FC 6 on July 13, 2013. She fought and lost to Jorina Baars in a kickboxing bout at Lion Fight 14 in March of 2014, and has not fought since. Justino spent most of the year recovering from an ankle injury, but at last, all appears now well.
