Reigning Bellator women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg (25-2 MMA, 4-0 BMMA) headlines Saturday’s Bellator 279 event, which takes place at Neal S. Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu and airs on Showtime. She puts her title on the line in a rematch against Australian challenger Arlene Blencowe (15-8 MMA, 4-0 BMMA).

Ahead of the event, Cyborg and her team are keeping a behind-the-scenes journal of her experiences with the series “Cyborg Nation Fight Week.” In the latest episode, Cyborg meets with Former Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard.

Champ Cris Cyborg will be the main event of Bellator 279 as the promotion heads to Hawaii for a historic weekend of back-to-back nights of fights both being headlined by female main events. After training in Huntington Beach, Cyborg travels to Hawaii and starts completing her mandatory pre fight requirements with Bellator MMA before a meeting with one of the most influential females in Hawaii; former presidential candidate and state representative Tulsi Gabbard.
