Cris Cyborg to headline Invicta FC 13 on July 10
Invicta FC president Shannon Knapp announced that Cris Cyborg will headline the Invicta FC 12 on July 10, during UFC Fight week.
UFC international Fight Week this Summer promises an extraordinary display of fights, with Invicta FC 13 on Friday, July 10, UFC 189 on Saturday, July 11, and a UFC Fight Night on FOX Sports 1 likely for Sunday, July 12.
Both UFC president Dana White and UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta watched cageside Friday as Cyborg took out Charmaine Tweet in just 47 seconds. The UFC is in negotiations to sign Cyborg with an eye towards a healthy drop to 135, and a title fight with Ronda Rousey. However, Cyborg’s next fight will not be with Rousey.
Invicta FC president Shannon Knapp announced that Cris Cyborg will headline the Invicta FC 12. Cyborg’s opponent was not named. Invicta atomweight (105) champion Herica Tiburcio will fight Ayaka Hamasaki in the co-main.
Invicta FC 12 will take place on April 10. Strawweight (115) champion Katja Kankaanpaa will fight the undefeated Livia Renata Souza in the main event. The location for Invicta FC 12 has not been announced.
