Last year in Loy Khro Stadium (it’s a ring surrounded by bars) in Chiang Mai, Thailand, a Westerner was offered the opportunity to do an exhibition with a Thai Boxer. The Farang tried to turn it into a slug fest, attacking when his far smaller opponent was leaning far back over the ropes.

Then he tried to turn it into an MMA bout, throwing punches at the now downed Thai.

Thais are the nicest people in the world, until they are not. And they got not at that point.

The Westerner was set upon by multiple coaches and spectators. The Thai fighter calmly exits the ring, and the Farang gets soccer kicked until the point was made, and he is helped up and directed to exit from the other side, hopefully a little wiser for the experience.
