UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier successfully defended his title at UFC 210 on Saturday night in Buffalo, NY, submitting Anthony Johnson again, with a rear naked choke, again. Johnson then announced his retirement.

Cormier in the meantime appeared to be enjoying himself immensely.

Wow!! @dc_mma keeps the belt at #UFC210!! #ANDSTILLpic.twitter.com/qlBiJJpRun

His next defense will likely be against Jimi Manuwa or Jon Jones, both of who were seated Octagonside.

Stop pretending you want to fight me, said Cormier to Manuwa, as trascribed by Kevin Iole for Yahoo Sports. You don’t want none of this.

Jones was next.

Don’t talk to me about a guy who is ineligible, said Cormier. When you get your ass, when you get your s*** together and you’re ready to fight, I’m here waiting for you young man. You know it. You wasted two years. … As a fighter, I respect him. We just don’t see eye to eye. Looking me in here with him, that’s a favor.

He’s a good fighter, but still not eligible. When he gets his academics in order, he can come back to the classroom.
