Cormier on UFC 210 poster: What is this $#!@
Daniel Cormier: “What is this? How many favors did Rumble have to call in to make this $#!@ happen?”
Most UFC event posters show the opposing main event fighters in roughly proportional dimensions. However, sometimes the league gets creative.
Nick Diaz got a big old head that dominated some iterations of the poster when he fought the UFC G.O.A.T. Anderson Silva.
The welterweight G.O.A.T. Georges St-Pierre got the Diaz big head treatment too.
Now UFC light heavyweight Daniel Cormier fights Anthony Johnson at UFC 210, and the dimensions are not anatomically correct. Cormier was not impressed.
“What is this? How many favors did Rumble have to call in to make this s*** happen?” he asked on Instagram. “Just remember last time the challenger looked so big on the poster RDA beat cowboy in one round.”
As Cormier noted, the size of the head in the poster does not seem to much effect fight outcomes. And does show some often lacking creativity …
