Conor: PEDs made Siver look weird, deformed
Conor McGregor: “I think when you take some of the stuff like that your body becomes weird. You look weird, especially when you come off it. Even your head, I believe.”

Conor McGregor showed up in Boston to promote his Jan. 18 fight with Dennis Siver in the main event of UFC Fight Night 59: McGregor vs. Siver
At a time when bullying has become a hot button issue that the entire western world seems to have coalesced against, “Notorious” determined to embrace it. McGregor, who claims to walk around at 169 lbs, says he won’t mind the cut this time as he’ll be able to “bully” Siver.
“It makes it all that much sweeter,” said McGregor as transcribed by David St. Martin for MMAFighting. “Especially when I’m going in against a 5-foot-5 overblown German that’s too small, too slow and too stocky. It makes all the sense. I like to bully these little people.”
“He’s muscular but he’s really small. He’s a weird looking, deformed looking guy. He was caught cheating at one stage in his career. He was on the steroids and he got banned for it so I think when you take some of the stuff like that your body becomes weird. You look weird, especially when you come off it. Even your head, I believe. So I think he’s a weird looking little German guy and I’m going to go in and whoop his ass in beautiful Boston City. ‘Ireland No. 2’ I like to call it.”
On Monday at “The Time is Now” media event, UFC president Dana White confirmed that Cub Swanson had been told a win Saturday over Frankie Edgar at UFC Fight Night 57: Edgar vs. Swanson would get him a shot at champion Jose Aldo. However, White also said “if (Conor McGregor) wins in Boston – and that fight is live and free on FOX Sports 1 – if he wins that fight in Boston we could be talking about a big fight with Jose Aldo.”
So there is an if and an if and a could. McGregor impishly says it is all lies.
“I believe he’s been promised,” said McGregor said of Swanson’s title shot. “[UFC] looked him dead in the eye and said, ‘Cub, I promise you, beat this man and you have a title shot.’ They looked him dead in the eye, so even if he wins and they still don’t give him the title shot I want to be there when they tell him, ‘No, I’m sorry. Remember that promise we promised you where we looked you dead in the eyes? It was all lies.'”
Siver was also briefly called a Nazi by McGregor on Twitter, who requested the German kiss his feet. However, Siver is trying to remain unruffled.
“In my view, it is not correct the way he talks,” said Siver said through an interpreter, as transcribed by MMAFighting. “I don’t think it is appropriate, not only towards me, but also towards other fighters. I don’t think it is correct.”
“I let everything that he says just bounce off. It is trash. I don’t care about it, I don’t let it affect me. The only thing I let it do is I concentrate on the fight.”
