Conor McGregor’s advice for Ronda Rousey

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey had an aura of invincibility. The Olympic bronze medalist was undefeated as an amateur and undefeated as a pro. She beat Alexis Davis in 16 seconds. Then she beat Cat Zingano in 14 seconds. But eventually, she lost to Holly Holm.

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor too seemed unbeatable, calling rounds, and winning the title in just 13 seconds. Then he lost, tapping out to Nate Diaz. In his next fight, McGregor came back to defeat Diaz via majority decision, and he has some advice for Rousey.

“I’d tell her to go shut them all up now,” said McGregor to Mike Dyce for Sports Illustrated. “Shut them all up. Go and stake your claim again. I wish Ronda nothing but the best, it’s good to see her back,” he continued. “Some people take defeat and losses a certain way. You see how some fighters take losses. I’m happy she is ready to go again and I wish her well.
