Carlos Condit likely would have earned a title shot with a win at UFC 171, but not only did he lose the fight after an injury, he now may be out for up to a year:
Wednesday, MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani reported on Fox’s UFC Tonight that Condit tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee. The information is according to Condit’s longtime trainer, Greg Jackson.
No timetable has been set for a return for the 29-year-old New Mexico native, a former UFC interim and WEC welterweight champion.
