Originally scheduled to fight at UFC 193 in November, Robbie Lawler will now fight Carlos Condit at UFC 195 on January 2nd. An injury to the champion caused the delay:
Fight fans held their collective breath when it was announced that UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler had sustained a thumb injury that forced him out of his UFC 193 main event against Carlos Condit.
But luckily, the injury won’t be serious enough to keep “Ruthless” Robbie from a January 2 date in Las Vegas, as he will now meet Condit in the main event of UFC 195 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, keeping one of MMA’s most highly-anticipated bouts intact.
