Immediately following Bellator 180 on Spike TV, the promotion presented it’s PPV event ‘Bellator NYC’, which began at 10:00 PM and took place at the Madison Square Garden in New York, New York.

Bellator NYC featured five fights including a main event between long time rivals Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen and heavyweight co-main event between the legendary Fedor Emelianenko.

At the last minute, the Gracie vs. Marfone fight was moved from the Spike TV portion because of time restrictions and took place before the main event
