NEW YORK – Combate Global today announced a complete, five-fight Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) card for Friday on Univision and TUDN USA (12 a.m. ET) from Miami.

Headlining the show will be a welterweight contest between Combate Global standout Marcos “El Lobo” Lloreda (11-7) and prolific finisher Marcus “Bad Intentions” Edwards (13-6).

Representing Spain, the 30-year-old Lloreda, who hails from Miami and is of Spanish descent, will look to reel off his second consecutive win after an active 2021 in which he competed four times and emerged victorious in three of the matchups.

In his last effort on November 26, Lloreda submitted Carlos Barrientos with an Americana armlock in the first round (4:13) of action at Combate Global.

Edwards, a 33-year-old resident of Colorado, has earned an astounding 11 of 13 professional career wins by way of knockout or submission. 

Over the course of his 10-year professional career, Edwards has become a seasoned competitor while battling a handful of name talent, including Justin Gaethje, Efrain Escudero and Pat “Bam Bam” Healy.

In a featured featherweight showdown, Sanda kickboxing champion Alfredo “Chato” Lopez (5-2) off Ciudad Juarez, Mexico will make his Combate Global debut opposite Team Freedom Fighters upstart Martin Justiz (1-1) of Cuba via Miami.

A featured women’s flyweight attraction will see Gillian Noll (1-2) of Post Falls, Idaho take on Jennifer Trioreau (0-3) of Marseille, France.

The preliminary bout card will be highlighted by the Combate Global debut of welterweight prospect Fernando “Bicho” Calvo (5-1) of Madrid, Spain. Calvo will battle Victor Valenzuela (6-3) of Santiago, Chile.

In a bantamweight preliminary bout, former amateur boxer and Brazilian jiu-jitsu national champion Alex “Coyote” Gonzalez (4-3) of Mexico City via Phoenix, and Fabia “El Potro” Sintes (2-2) of Menorca, Spain.
