Combate Americas ‘Mexico vs. El Mundo’ took place Friday, May 18th from the Auditorio Municipal Tijuana in Tijuana, B.C., Mexico live on Univision Deportes Network.
The nine-bout fight card was highlighted by matchups between an assembly of top rising stars from Mexico and opponents from four other countries – the U.S., Spain, Brazil and Chile – including a previously announced, much-anticipated featherweight (145 pounds) showdown between knockout artists Marco Antonio La Roca Elpidio (7-2-1) of Mexico City, Mexico and Andres The Bullet Quintana (13-2) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, U.S.
