Although Ronda Rousey has been out of the public view since her loss to Holly Holm, behinds the scenes planning is being done for her return according to nutrition coach Mike Dolce:

We’re planning Ronda’s comeback and her world domination, Dolce said. That’s really what it’s about. The last loss Ronda suffered was in the 2008 Olympics, where she battled back and won a bronze medal. She has been undefeated since, all the way to November 2015.

Rousey (10-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) recently chomped an apple to demonstrate her progress recovering from a knockout loss to Holly Holm (10-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) this past November at UFC 193. Her prospective return, however, was brought into focus by Holm’s submission loss to Miesha Tate (18-5 MMA, 5-2 UFC) at UFC 196. UFC President Dana White said after this past month’s pay-per-view blockbuster that Rousey told him it was time to get back to work.

According to Dolce, that means reinvesting in her training and bringing her skills to a new level over the next several months. With White confirming a trilogy fight between the rivals is on deck, the team now has a goal to work toward.

She’s extremely refocused, and the team is definitely moving forward, Dolce said. We’re all rowing in the right direction, and now it’s just a matter of sitting back and waiting for the right time for her to step back in again.
