Coach: I have never seen Brock so motivated
Comprido: “I’ve never seen Brock so motivated to train. He normally trains without the gi to get ready for MMA, but this time, he’s even training with the gi.”

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar’s longtime BJJ coach, two-time world champion Rodrigo ‘Comprido’ Medeiros, recently spoke withMarcelo Alonso for Sherdog about the fighter’s newfound drive.
Actually, he was the one who went after the UFC and WWE to make the deal, explained Medeiros. What I can say is that I’ve never seen Brock so motivated to train. He normally trains without the gi to get ready for MMA, but this time, he’s even training with the gi. He is totally healthy and in great shape.
Comprido also discussed Lesnar’s recent BJJ belt promotion.
Actually, Brock, [MMA coach] Marty Morgan and [former Bellator MMA heavyweight champion] Cole Konrad are all at a higher level than blue belt on the ground, but I have to follow jiu-jitsu rules. I couldn’t jump them from blue to purple, but I guarantee you that Brock has improved a lot on the ground. He’s very dangerous from the top but also has a very good defensive guard.
And Comprido made a prediction about the fight between Lesnar and Mark Hunt at UFC 200 on July 9 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
One has the better striking credentials, and the other has the better wrestling credentials, said the coach. The fans can definitely expect a battle between two titans, and I bet Lesnar will be the winner.
