I’m sitting right now next to Eric Castanos and his gym has been hit with literally over a hundred calls about Mijian Lopez. Apparently, he heard that somebody has been posting with his name on Sherdog and making a claim that Mijian Lopez has defected to Miami and training with him. From what Eric knows, Mijian Lopez is still in Cuba and has never mentioned anything to him about defecting. He knows nothing about that and he has never posted on Sherdog.
Just so you guys know, Eric knows very little English and definitely can’t write in English… and even if he could… he knows NOTHING about the internet! 🙂 That is why he came over to my gym so that I could write this for him on his behalf.
Also, Eric Castanos and his gym are in great terms with myself and FFA. Many know Eric “El Tigre” was my kickboxing coach for several years. There were people posting with both our names talking trash and we both want people to know that isn’t the case.
