Coach: Cain ‘won’t rush’ into Nov fight
“He’s not sure if he’ll be ready by November. He said he won’t rush into the fight that’s targeted for then. He won’t fight until he’s 100 percent.”
At UFC on FOX 11, Fabricio Werdum beat Travis Browne to become the next challenger for UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez. However, it is not known when Velasquez, currently recovering from shoulder surgery, will be ready to fight.
Cain may coach opposite Werdum in The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America; filming would reportedly begin in May in Las Vegas, NV.
On Wednesday’s UFC Tonight” Ariel Helwani related that UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez could be out until 2015.
