Class-action lawsuit #3 filed against the UFC
A third class action law suit in has been filed in the same Norcal District Court against the UFC this one naming Brandon Vera and Pablo Garza as the plaintiffs.

John S. Nash who revealed a class-action lawsuit was about to be filed against UFC parent company ZUFFA, now reveals that a third complaint has been filed. Plaintiffs in the first suit were Cung Le, Nate Quarry, and Jon Fitch. The second suit named this Javi Vazquez and Dennis Hallman. The third one names Brandon Vera and Pablo Garza.
The complaint is reportedly to be identical to the first one with the exception of the plaintiffs, and with the same legal team. It was, like the first one, also filed in California‘s Northern District Court. Each suit has been assigned to a different judge.
Vera went 4-0 in the UFC and went through a difficult negotiation with the league. He then went 4-7 with one loss changed to an NC due to a failed drug test on the part of his opponent. After two consecutive losses, he was cut. His last fight was an exciting win over Igor Subora in Asia’s ONE FC.
Garza went 3-3 and was released in April of 2013. He has not fought since. He most recently caught the sport’s eye when he posted on Facebook that he had been asked in 2012 to sign a petition denying that the UFC was not a monopoly.
As the story unfolds, BloodyElbow is likely to get the scoop.
