Chuck Liddell engaged to longtime girlfriend Heidi Northcott

Former Ultimate Fighting champ and Dancing with the Stars contestant Chuck Liddell is taking on a new challenge: marriage. The former mixed martial artist proposed to his girlfriend, Heidi Northcott, on Nov. 4, a rep confirms to People magazine.

Liddell popped the question to Northcott, his girlfriend of over a year, after a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon.

This will be the first marriage for both Liddell and Northcott, who met through a mutual friend at a party. They have not yet set a wedding date.
