Since losing his first shot at a UFC gold to Jose Alod, Chad Mendes has been on a mission to get back in the title picture. Mendes has won four straight fights by KO/TKO and if he can do the same at the UFC on FOX 9 he will set a UFC record for consecutive wins by KO/TKO.

Chad Mendes knocked out Cody MacKenzie at UFC 148, TKO’d Yaotzin Meza the TUF Australia Finale, TKO’d Darren Elkins at the UFC on FOX 7, and most recently TKO’d Clay Guida at UFC 164. Mendes faces Nik Lentz at this weekend’s UFC on FOX 9.
