ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships and FURY Professional Grappling are proud to announce another incredible weekend of combat sports action next month with “CFFC 112: Perez vs. Wells” and FURY Professional Grappling 5, both of which take place on back-to-back nights at Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena.
On Friday, Aug. 26 top featherweight prospects Jose Perez (6-1) and Frank “Chopper” Wells (3-1) face off in the main event of CFFC 112, with an interim title at 145 pounds on the line. Perez returns to the CFFC cage for the seventh time, and after a thrilling “Fight of the Year” candidate win over Paul Capaldo will now look to claim gold. Standing in his way is Wells, who has contested his entire professional career under the CFFC banner and is riding the strength of back-to-back wins over previously undefeated prospects Damion Nelson and William Rentz.
Meanwhile, the night’s co-main event will see reigning CFFC bantamweight champion Da’Mon “The Diamond” Blackshear (12-4) seeking the second defense of his title, Also scheduled to appear on the night are Ian Allston, James Clarke, Vilson Ndregjoni, Greg Velasco, Manny Morales, Eric Nolan, Luke Fernandez, Jerry Lleshi, Nick Galanti, Riley Palmer, and more.
The following night, on Saturday, Aug. 27, FURY Professional Grappling 5 will feature a full roster of both UFC stars and standout grapplers in the latest edition of the hugely popular grappling series. A complete lineup for the card will be announced shortly.
