Earlier this week the UFC announced it’s second UFC on FOX Sports 1, which will take place August 26th in Indianoplis and feature a welterweight main event between Carlos Condit and Martin Kampann. And today the UFC announced the co-main event, which should be a very exciting fight in the lightweight division:
No. 6-ranked lightweight contender Donald Cowboy Cerrone (20-5) has agreed to meet No. 10- ranked contender Rafael Dos Anjos (19-6) on Aug. 28 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse as part of the UFC on Fox Sports 1 card.
Cerrone, one of the UFC’s most popular fighters, is coming off a dominating win over veteran fighter KJ Noons at UFC 160.
Dos Anjos has been on a four-fight win streak that has seen him creep back into title contention.
