For the past year Donald Cerrone has been the most active fighter on the UFC roster. Of course he loves to fight, and he’s winning, but also because he has to stay ahead of the IRS:
Cerrone loves to fight, that much is clear. During a recent interview with Bruce Buffer and TJ DeSantis on the It’s Time podcast, however, Cerrone revealed another reason for fighting so often.
“I’ve been taking those fights just to pay my taxes off, that’s what people don’t understand,” he revealed.
“They give us this big chunk of money and then idiots like me spend it all. Then they tell me, ‘wait, you have to pay us our set.’ Then, I have to go fight again so I can pay them. (laughs)”
