CB Dolloway out of UFC 203 after elevator incident

In a bizarre series of incidents, a faulty elevator at the Wyndham Cleveland host hotel interfered with a number of UFC 203 fighters. It was reportedly the sole functioning passenger elevator in the facility.
First, heavyweight title challenger Alistair Overeem was late to weigh-ins, due to a faulty elevator. There was some eye rolling, and he was fined $500 by the Ohio Athletic Commission.
Then an elevator full of fighters and coaches, including UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum, dropped and jammed, trapping the fighters inside for a time.
Now the UFC reports that CB Dolloway is out his fight with Francimar Barroso, and the bout has been scrapped. The cause, once again, was an elevator:
UFC announced that CB Dollaway has had to withdraw from his scheduled bout at UFC 203 due to an injury he suffered last night as a result of an elevator accident at a hotel in Cleveland.
UFC officials have been in communication with hotel management, and the hotel is currently evaluating and investigating the issues surrounding the incident.
Dollaway reportedly hurt his back in the malfunctioning elevator, and after consultation with medical staff and the UFC, the decision was made to pull out of the fight.
Dollaway’s manager released a statement to Ariel Helwani.
It is extremely disappointing as CB was looking forward to making his light heavyweight debut after coming off of a strong camp with [boxer] Jose Benavidez. He will remain in Ohio until we figure out the extent of his injury. I have been in contact with the city of Cleveland elevator inspector and I am waiting for an incident report.
The middleweight Dollaway had intended to make his light heavyweight debut on Saturday. When lightweight turned welterweight Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone heard that Dollaway was out, he sent an immediate text to UFC president Dana White.
