UFC welterweight Cathal Pendred was walking on Doonbeg Beach in his native Ireland when he spied a baby dolphin that appeared to be drowning.

UFC welterweight CathalPendred was walking with his girlfriend Michele on Doonbeg Beach in his native Ireland shortly after a wedding. The pair spied a baby dolphin that appeared to be drowning. Dolphins, being mammals like we are, require oxygen to survive.
Pendred drove into the Atlantic and rescued it.

I just spent an hour in the sea at Doonbeg trying to save a baby dolphin. He was very hurt but alive and well now! ??
“He saved the baby dolphin’s life,” said model and hostess Michele. “It was a very proud moment.”
