Cat Zingano hoping to fight Rousey this summer
“I know Ronda Rousey had said something about maybe fighting in the end of the summer and I think that sounds pretty good to me too,” said Cat Zingano.
Undefeated UFC women’s bantamweight contender Cat Zingano recently appeared on AXS TV’s Inside MMA. In it she related that she starts training full time on Monday, and she is looking at a fight with UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey this summer.
“When the time comes, I’m going to be ready, absolutely,” she said, as transcribed by B/R. “I feel strong, I feel like I’m gonna come out ready to fight. I know Ronda had said something about maybe fighting in the end of the summer and I think that sounds pretty good to me too.”
The BJJ black belt also said a fight withInvicta FC featherweight champ Cris Justino, would be “fun.”
