ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) is excited to confirm the organization will be visiting a new venue for the promotion’s highly anticipated return to “The Sunshine State,” as Tampa’s Florida State Fairgrounds plays host to CFFC 126 on Friday, October 13.
Following six straight sold-out events in Tampa over the past two years, ticket demands necessitated a move to a larger venue, leading CFFC officials to partner with the Florida State Fairgrounds.
Tickets are on sale now at CFFC.tv. The event streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
“Our events in Tampa have been absolutely electric each and every time we’ve hosted cards there over the past two years, and that’s all thanks to an incredibly passionate group of fans, as well as an amazing number of talented athletes in the area,” CFFC CEO Rob Haydak said. “We’ve already been able to identify several phenomenal martial artists destined for the sport’s highest stages, and we look forward to continuing that tradition as we move into a larger venue at the Florida State Fairgrounds, allowing us to bring even more enthusiastic fans inside to experience our signature brand of fast-paced, high-energy action.”
A headlining contest for CFFC 126 will be announced shortly.
Additional matchups expected for the card include former CFFC lightweight champ Cedric “The Gunman” Gunnison (6-2) vs. Julio Cesar Chaves (6-5), “Iron” Will Rentz (3-1) vs. Corey “Lightning Wolf” Samuels (4-3), Isaiah Sackey-El (3-0) vs. Thomas “Freight Train” Lane (3-0), C.J. LaFragola (1-0) vs. “The Relentless” Alonzo Turner (2-0), Willie Tarpley (3-3) vs. John “Big For Nothing” Lopez (1-0) and Matt Allison (1-0) vs. Yve “The Arsenal” Nelson (Pro debut), as well as a NextGen clash with Argenis Castro (4-3) vs. David Camacho (8-5).
