ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships returns home to the historic Boardwalk on Friday, December 16, when CFFC 116 will bring the next superstars of MMA to Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

The night’s main event will feature a bantamweight title matchup between two top contenders, with the winner taking home the title that was vacated when former champion Da’Mon “Da Monster” Blackshear signed with the UFC. Additional featured matchups already set for the card include Eddy “The Taino Warrior” Torres (4-0) vs. Tyler Mathison (3-2), former CFFC NextGen light heavyweight champion Luke Fernandez (pro debut) vs. Orelvis Hernandez (pro debut), Eric “Night Time” Nolan (2-1) vs. Joey “The Hitman” Hart (1-0) and former CFFC NextGen flyweight champion Jerry Lleshi (pro debut) vs. Bilal Hasan (pro debut).

“We’ve had another incredible year as a promotion, holding events in Florida, Mississippi, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as we continue to develop our national presence, but we’re thrilled that we get to host our final mixed martial arts event of 2022 at home in Atlantic City,” CFFC CEO Rob Haydak said. “We’re stacking this card with some of the absolute best talent in the sport, and it’s sure to once again be an absolutely electric night inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.”

Also expected to compete at CFFC 116 are former CFFC NextGen heavyweight champion Ian “The Hammer” Allston (2-0), “Ruthless” Robert Varricchio (3-0), B.J. “RicanRebel” Young (5-3), Vilson “The Strong Eagle” Ndregjoni (5-3), Frank “Chopper” Wells (3-2) and Matt Caracappa (0-1)
