Mikey Burnett, a UFC star in the late 90s, appeared on The Ultimate Fighter: Season 4, in 2006 . In episode 11 of the season, Burnett attempted to run through a wall, leaving it with a large dent. On the final episode, Burnett iwas informed by a doctor that he required major surgery on his neck before he would be able to continue fighting. Burnett opted to undergo the surgery, which put him out of action for at least one year.
Burnett later filed suit against the show for the injuries he sustained.
