Bubba Jenkins joins Brave CF
NCAA Division I champion Bubba Jenkins has joined Brave Combat Federation, and will compete as a featherweight, although no debut date has been set.
Decorated wrestler Bubba Jenkins is the latest star to join Brave Combat Federation. An NCAA Division I champion, the American fighter will compete as a featherweight for Brave, although no debut date has been set.
Jenkins has beaten the likes of Jordan Parsons, Goiti Yamauchi, and Diego Marlon on his way to a 12-4 MMA professional record and has fought for other top promotions in his career. He has been out of action since beating Marlon in September of 2017 and joins from free agency.
He first got involved with the promotion back at Brave 13, in Northern Ireland, when he cornered teammate Zach Zane and said to be “amazed” with the organization and was already considering signing for Brave before putting pen to paper on a multi-fight deal.
Before starting his MMA career, Jenkins was one of the best amateur wrestlers in the USA at 157 lbs. winning the NCAA 2011 title after losing in the finals in 2008. He represented Penn State and Arizona State during his amateur career as a wrestler.
