Brown wants winner of Alves/Condit
Matt Brown: “I’m hoping I get the winner of that fight…That’s what I would like. An ideal situation, I beat Means and I get the winner of that fight.”

‘The Immortal’ Matt Brown was one win away from a UFC title shot twice when he lost to Robbie Lawler and then Johnny Hendricks. Now coming off two loses, Brown knows that he needs a big fight to get himself in the title picture again and is hoping a fight with the winner of this weekend’s Condit vs. Alves bout would be that fight for him:
Brown (19-13 MMA, 12-7 UFC), who already has a matchup set for UFC 189 against Tim Means (24-6-1 MMA, 6-3 UFC), expressed interest in the winner during the Great MMA Debate podcast.
I’m hoping I get the winner of that fight, Brown said. That’s what I would like. An ideal situation, I beat Means and I get the winner of that fight. I’m picking Condit to win.
