In the main event at UFC on FOX 12 Robbie Lawler kicked Matt Brown who reacted as if he had been hit in the groin. Referee “Big” John McCarthy told him he had five minutes to recover, as is allowed for illegal groin shots. Brown started fighting again shortly afterwards.

However, a replay appeared to show that the shot hit the liver not the groin. Some fans made the charge that Brown was faking it. Given Brown’s heart, the charge is remarkably dubious.

Brown reacted, via FB.
