Brock Lesnar to return to the UFC?

A smiling UFC President Dana White said at the UFC 146 post fight press conference that there was a possibilty Brock Lesnar would make a return to the Octagon. No details were provided, but the prospect must make White happy, given the massive PPV numbers that Brock was able to generate at his peak.

White was asked at the post-fight press conference what was Brock doing at UFC 147?

I don’t know,” White said.” Apparently now he’s a big fan (of the the UFC). He was here. I mean, I think that says it all.

The next question was is Brock returning to the UFC?

Possibly, yeah, White replied coyly.

White said the two had not talked, but that Lesnar wanted a meeting after the post fight press con.

You never know with him. He might want to come back, he might just want to hang out, White said.

Curiously, Brock’s MMA themed WWE Extreme Rules PPV return was not a massive PPV success, with just 251,000 buys. By contrast no Brock Lesnar UFC PPV did less than 600,000 buys.

While a number of fans were excited at the prospect, Frank Mir did not appear to be among them 🙂
