Rousimar Palhares has demonstrated a rocky relationship with the rules in MMA for pretty much his entire career. At the 2011 ADCC World Submission Wrestling World Championship last weekend in Nottinghan, England, Palhares’ unfortunate penchant for late submissions resulted in an injured leg for his opponent, David Avellan.
