Brave FC to focus on social commitment in 2018
Mohammed Shahid “Lately, our fighters have captured global attention by being role models who have transformed lives or supported their local communities.”

It almost goes without saying that what keeps an MMA promotion in business is putting asses in seats sufficient to turn a profit. However, there are exceptions. Brave Combat Federation is the brainchild of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the fifth son of King Hamad of Bahrain. The prince is an avid athlete and fighter, and is using the sport as a vehicle for higher pursuits.

Brave Combat Federation has announced that nurturing social commitment among athletes will be among the priorities for the year 2018.
The mixed martial arts promotion is the first Bahraini sports media property to make a global impact.
During the ninth edition of the event hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain, multiple schools and educational institutions in Bahrain became venue for international athletes and celebrities to interact with the students and youth in Bahrain. The initiative had far-reaching results, by spreading healthy lifestyle and fitness aimed at holistic development among the youth.
French School of Bahrain, The Indian school, Philippine School and Pakistan School welcomed international athletes for interaction and awareness sessions.
Apart from encouraging students interested in sports, this also allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of how they can focus on a career in sports while balancing their academic record at its best.
Athletes have a significant impact among the young generation,” said Mohammed Shahid, president of Brave CF. “So it is a commitment by Brave Combat Federation to be that organization with the culture that inspires and motivate the youth to exceed and achieve their dreams. Lately, our fighters have captured global attention by being role models who have transformed lives or supported their local communities. We at Brave Combat Federation are proud of such gestures. We intend to spread this among a wider spectrum of stakeholders by 2018.”
In a world devoted to the bottom line, it is inspiring to find a fight organization with the resources and vision to push for a higher calling.
